Our award winning school meal service provides nutritionally balanced and well-presented food in a setting that caters to the needs of pupils. We are proud to be the only Council to have earned nine consecutive Gold Soil Association Food Awards since 2008. We also support a variety of local suppliers for our fresh ingredients. School meals offer a positive lunchtime experience, giving students a valuable break from the classroom while remaining within the safety of the school. We believe that school lunch breaks should be enjoyable and engaging, and our goal is to guide children towards a healthy diet by offering a variety of appealing and nutritious cooked meals made from high-quality ingredients which are freshly prepared and cooked each day by our trained catering staff.
